The objective of the Chamber’s Government Affairs is to “Encourage a close working relationship between government, its elected officials and the greater Delray Beach business community.”
Government Affairs meetings are held on the third Friday of the month at 8:00AM at the Chamber. These meetings include representatives from City Staff, Elected Officials, the Police and Fire Rescue Departments, along with key business leaders within and around Delray Beach and provide a wealth of information regarding special projects and issues facing our City. Members are encouraged to arrive at 7:45AM to enjoy coffee and to network.

Government Affairs also hosts a Candidates Forum prior to each Municipal Election for Commissioner and/or Mayoral candidates. The forum is held in conjunction with the Delray Beach Center for the Arts and provides all residents an opportunity to meet the candidates, learn of their priorities and plans if elected, and to ask questions of the candidates. In 2017, the Candidates Forum will be Tuesday, Feb 28, 2017
Legislative Luncheon Each year in November the Chamber hosts a Legislative Luncheon with our state representatives. This is a great opportunity to meet those that govern our state, ask questions and learn about their legislative priorities.
